How to Replace Electric Chainsaw Blade

You will need a wrench, couple of instruments and a screwdriver.

1. The most important and first step will be unplugging your chainsaw from the electric source. You may think that this is not necessary, but it is. Many injuries are happening because of plugging electric chainsaw with the electric source. So do not make yourself a victim of it.

2. Look at the blade arm part. You can find it besides engine housing. You can see screw heads and two nuts. Loosen the nut so that you can move freely forth and back of the motor housing. Now loosen the screw head to lose blade.

3. Now turn the screw counter-clockwise one time or two with your screwdriver. You do not need to remove screw head. You only need to lose the chain from the body. For that, you don't need to open the chain arm. After that, you have to push chain arm forward to the engine housing to loosen the arm while pulling the chain.

4. There is a sprocket on the engine housing. If you remove the chain, it will fall freely from the sprocket. The arm should be loosening enough to remove the chain. After that, you can eliminate the chain from the sprocket, and you can remove it from the chain arm and housing. Now you can replace electric chainsaw blade.

5. Now replace the chain from the sprocket. Reverse the process. Then you must put everything back to its place and stop working.

Before replacing electric chainsaw blade, you must ensure that you have joined all the small parts together in their right place. Otherwise, the chain may come out and cause a great problem. Even it may cause you an accident. Now your chainsaw is as good as new. You can use your chainsaw without any problem.
